In my Ancestry records I did run across both the names Forbes and Foster. The name Foster was showing up as a distant grandmother…and Jacqueline Byrd Harris, (a person claiming to be my relative from the Nash side) contacted me on Ancestry.com to give me a message. During our conversation, she mentioned that I was Royalty but didn’t know it. So much has been hidden, that I’m not sure what to believe. Could Princess Sarah Forbes be one of my ancestors? I don’t know…maybe during the trial—another DNA will resolve this mystery once and for all—but moving along…History seems to always repeat itself. They kidnapped this child (Sarah Forbes) of a Black King and gave her as a present to a white Queen—Victoria Foster. When the girl left and tried to go back to her homeland, they sanctioned her to come back because they were obsessed with her high intellect and ability to outshine her tutors. They even made her live in squaller for a time to force her to marry the man they chose for her…sounds a bit familiar…forcing someone to be with another person by attacking their finances and security in life.
