What do you see?

Today I had the pleasure to attend my first Art exhibit at Guilford College with my IDS 400 class. Not only did we get to come indoors from bad weather, but we able to view interesting pieces of art, chit-chat with each other and enjoy some tasty refreshments. For some, the picture down below would be just a strange contraption of pieces with cords, dirt, rocks, leaves and other  inanimate objects from nature. For others, it’s a work of art that displays understanding for the importance of the reciprocal relationship between living and non-living things. Like Anne Dillard states in her book, “Pilgrim at Tinker Creek,” What you see is what you get.”
